Canyons Village Ski Condo – Timberwolf 8C

SUCH a fantastic place! This is our second time staying at the Timberwolf community and we had a GREAT time. Dori's cabin will make you feel like you're in a winter wonderland. It feels secluded, with a stream nearby and right in the woods. But it's anything but far from skiing - it's walkable to the Cabriolet lifts, which takes you straight into the Canyon side of the mountain. You also have a covered garage which is a huge plus and we go from garage to Park City mountain garage - such a convenience and no need to scrape snow or ice off the car. I HIGHLY recommend this place for winter and ski. Loved it and will return. We also had a fantastic time playing Monopoly! Cabin comes with great family fun games. Gas fireplace, the works. The kitchen has great amenities and salt/pepper/oil, most things that you don't want to buy for a short term stay. Really great overall.

I try to leave a positive review when I travel b/c I know hosts work hard to provide a comfortable environment for their guests. Unfortunately, this isn't the case here. Every window & door in this unit backs to Highway 224 & the traffic noise is very loud-day & night. There is no A/C, so you have to keep your windows open if it's hot. But the traffic noise makes it difficult to sleep. Even earplugs did not completely obliterate the noise. Upon entering the property there was a strong smell of bacon & it had permeated everything! Before we could finish unloading or putting things away, I had to clean the entire kitchen to get rid of the grease covering every surface. I immediately contacted the prop mgr and the response was that all properties are inspected for cleanliness. They offered to send someone to clean the next day, but by that time, I had done it. They did give us a $10 refund to cover the cost of the Febreeze we purchased to try to cover up the horrendous smell and the cost of purchasing ice, since the ice maker in the freezer did not work. The carpeting in this house is filthy! We could not walk around barefoot w/o our feet turning black. It was so gross. Both hot tubs were dirty and had green algae growing in them, so we could not use them. Also of note, there is no BBQ grill, although they are allowed in this complex. Yes, the pictures look great, but beware! This place is dated, smells, and feels old. We would not stay here again.

First, I would like to say that we are not picky people and usually leave very good reviews. We roll with the punches and go with the flow. We booked this condo based on the excellent reviews we read and the pictures provided in the listing. Lesson learned - pictures can be very deceiving! Also, I want to add that maybe it is completely different in the winter. So, this review applies to our experience in late July and early August. When we arrived and opened the door from the garage to the condo, the smell of bacon was overwhelming - I mean it had permeated every inch of the condo, carpet & furniture! The kitchen countertops had a layer of grease on them, so bad that we couldn't set anything down until we had cleaned them off with very hot, soapy water. Twice! I immediately contacted iTrip and although they did respond quickly, their answer was that each property is inspected for cleanliness so they were sure our condo had been cleaned properly. They offered to send a cleaning crew the next day. By this time I had already cleaned the kitchen, including some digusting pots & pans,the knife block (I literally took a table knife to scrape off the dust and grime, and all knives. Each time we used anything in the kitchen we washed it first. We opened every window as wide as possible and sprayed almost an entire bottle of Febreeze, and finally, after 3 days, the bacon smell was gone. We would close the windows when leaving for the day, and upon return, the smell would be back, although not quite as bad. I suspect the carpets are in need of a good, deep cleaning. The condo is very spacious, so if you have a large group, it would be great. The log furniture is cute, but the kitchen chairs are as hard as rocks! Don't plan to linger at the table or use it to play games unless you sit on a couple of pillows. We were very disappointed that we could not use either hot tub in the community since both were filthy and had green algae growing in them. And then there's the noise! Oh my word! Every single window in this condo faces Hwy 224. There is a steady stream of traffic day & night. If you're here in the winter, this probably is not a problem because the windows will be closed. But in the summer? It is awful! And don't be fooled by the lovely picture of the "deck" facing the "woods". Those trees are the buffer between the very small deck and the highway. We could not hear each other talk while out there. And sleep? All I can say is bring earplugs! You need the window open for cool air, but the noise from the road makes you want to close the window. Earplugs! If you like to BBQ, forget it! This unit does not provide a grill, even though every other deck we saw in the complex had one, so we know they are allowed. The location of this condo is great (aside from the highway noise) - close to many activities, stores and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. The TV in the king bedroom is way too small, making it almost impossible to watch from bed. If you just need it for noise, it's fine. Overall, this condo feels old and dated. We would not stay here again.

Great Cabin for our Trip, well equipped kitchen, beautiful neighborhood, garage parking. The Free High Valley Transit Bus stop is a very easy short walk from the Front Door of this Cabin, providing free transportation to Main St Park City, Restaurants, the Ski areas and Shopping.

Spacious two bedroom condo w parking underneath. Right off main road and convenient to Canyons ski resort.

The condo was clean, spacious and nicely located.

We loved this clean, comfy, nicely appointed home with large rooms, updated baths, many games, Peloton, jetted tub, well-stocked kitchen and 2 hot tubs in next bldg over only a few steps away. One street from Hwy 224; quick, easy drive, about 10 minutes, to any type of service you need (Walmart, Whole Foods, multiple restaurants, etc.) or to Cabriolet lift hub. Garage door opening is small. A Toyota Corolla fit, but large SUVs would not. Great communication and experience with booking. We arrived after dark and there was no information provided about where to walk to reach the hot tub or the nearest shuttle pick-up/drop-off point, which would be helpful to include inside the unit. We appreciated the speedy response when we asked for help locating the hot tub and we easily found it right away. :) You'll want to download the Canyons Village Connect app before your stay if you plan to use the shuttle. Cabriolet Lift public parking lot is very close, less than 5 minutes away if you want to drive. Lovely stay. We'll definitely return!

The condo provided everything we needed for our trip to Canyons.

I work with a Grammy nominated musician who is from an internationally known band. The musician, his girlfriend and myself stayed here for Sundance 2024 and we all LOVED IT! Perfect location and fit the mountain vibes of Park City. The condo had everything we needed. We loved that it was essentially 1/2 between Main Street and Kimball Junction. Would definitely stay here again next time we come to Park City.

Perfect location for skiing at Canyons and PCMR. One thing: very close to road so there is traffic noise. Another thing: garage is small and we couldn't park our admittedly enormous SUV (GMC Yukon Denali because it was too tall. There are parking spaces outside but then there are issues of snow, getting things into condo etc. Front steps were not shoveled and covered with ice so entering through garage is essential. Lovely and spacious condo though and great location for skiing.

This is our second time renting this cabin. It fits our family of 5 perfectly. We love that it is literally 1 traffic light away from Park City, Canyons Village making it an easy drop off for those who want to ski and those who don't. The cabin is well equipped and maintained, even with undeground parking so there is no need to shovel snow. Until next year.

This was a perfect stay! Booked the place with Dori last minute when our planned Airbnb stay didn’t work out. The place is spacious, clean and has everything you need. Well stocked and beautifully designed in rustic wood style. The only downside was the traffic noise, but with windows closed it probably isn’t a problem. The location is my favorite, so I liked it all. Would come back again!

We had a great stay here! Very comfortable and had everything we needed. The garage was a plus! The place does get a little warm (July) but with the fans that were provided it was not too bad. Highly recommend staying here!

It's lovely. A lot of steps for an older lady but I'm managing. Wish I could have brought my dog.

Totally above all of our expectations in every way

We skied the The whole time we were at Park City. . Very convenient for the shuttles. We love the community hot tub. And the Jacuzzis inside our condo. We got to play some board game, location was great next to the mall and stores grocery stores. The view of the pond and mountain fir the sunrise was so beautiful.

We are enjoyed our stay at Timber Wolf lodge. The location near the Canyons, the hot tub and Kimball junction was very convenient. A couple of minor issues: the dishwasher door needs to be adjusted and the unit we rented was close to the road and even during winter there was a lot of road noise

Less than a mile from the Canyons chair lift and ski rental, this location was very ideal. Kitchen has great space for gathering, cooking meals, and nice dining area for eating. Liked the openness of the floor plan on the main floor where we could eat, cook, and relax.

This cabin is great for a cozy place to stay within close distance to main street (about 10-15 min). I was very impressed with the tall ceilings in the bed rooms. Everything was very clean and exactly what we needed. We were disappointed with the free shuttle that was advertised. I am not sure given it is through itrip company versus an individual owner but the book at the home was not helpful for new comers to Park City. We called itrip to get directions on how to use the shuttle and were told to use apple maps and select bus as the method of transport. However, we tried using it and waited at the bus stop for almost an hour and the app said the bus had come and gone. It is possible there is a different shuttle, however, it was not clear and the instructions to use apple maps did not end in success. Therefore, we had to use uber / lift during the trip and there are limited drivers and it becomes expensive with a larger group. It would have been nice if the book also included guidance for approaching the many lifts and routes. Otherwise, the place is great. Hot tub is a nice perk, short walk from the cabin and relaxing after a long day of skiing. We would recommend this place to others..

A great place to stay. I only wish iTrip's checkin email did not land in my Outlook junk mail folder. It took 20 minutes to find the entry access codes. I even had iTrip added to my safe senders list so this would not happen but apparently the formatting of their arrival access email notification was different from their initial welcome email, and this difference raised a flag for Outlook's mail protection algorithm. Please keep this in mind.

We really enjoyed our week in PC which all started in this well appointed townhome! It had having we needed and was clean and comfortable! The location was wonderful for the best hiking & dining! We love Deer Valley and Park City and will be back to ski this coming winter!

We loved the property. The home was beautiful and clean. Added bonus having a parking garage to park in and not having to look for a parking spot. We did go during the summer and we knew there was no a/c when we booked. It did get a little warm, however there was plenty of fans that we could use. Overall great location and beautiful place. We hope to be back to Park City again and we would definitely stay here again.

Our family has enjoyed vacation homes through the years. This rental is now one of our favorites! There is plenty of space in this cozy, charming home with all the comforts to make your stay exceptional. We felt more like family than guests by the extra touches and warm hospitality. Thank you! Beautiful condo and conveniently located. Wish we stayed longer. We spent the day at Olympic park with the kids and had a blast. It was hotter than we planned for so AC would have been nice but we booked it thinking it was going to be cooler.

Awesome townhome near the canyons - it’s easy to get to town and the highway. Everything was clean, spacious, and comfortable beds. The only drawback while there in the summer is the road could be a little loud with the windows open. Overall great stay and value. Would definitely rent again!

This is the perfect spot for a Park City getaway. The location was fantastic, close enough to Main Street without dealing with the crowds. The house clean and just all around perfect.

This is my third winter staying at Timberwolf. I recommend the place. the pricing is fair and the place is clean and comfortable.

We decided on this property based on the cabin-y feel it provided in the pictures. Even though it is a four-unit townhome building, we felt like we were in a place of our own. We were two couples, with the other couple having a 2-year-old. Even though the bedrooms are both upstairs and next to each other, for the two full days and nights we were there, none of us said we could hear each other at any point during our stay. The whole stay was very warm and comfortable and we cooked several meals in the kitchen. Having a spot to park one of our vehicles in the communal basement garage was also an added plus. It is also very close to the Canyons Village side of Park City Mountain Resort. The drive to the $15 preferred parking area only takes 3 to 4 minutes, and from there, a short walk to the lifts. The only way to get closer is ski in/ski out which you will pay premium for. I highly recommend this property for a stay in Park City.

Had a great time in Timber Wolf 8C Kings Crown. Condo was perfect for our group of 4. Kitchen had what we needed and the Grocery Girls did a great job of delivering our food order.

We absolutely loved the accommodations! - The charming rock fireplace with log mantel, the well - equipped kitchen, the open floor plan - all of it was wonderful! This condo is located right next to a babbling brook and a small duck pond - so fun to feed the ducks! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing and it was conveniently located within the property. Would love to stay here again!!

The garage is such a great benefit There was really only one issue - upon arrival we were supplied with VERY basic items We needed to ask for tissues (only one box that had three tissues in it was available) and we needed to ask for more paper towels. There are no extra trash bags either. we are here for five nights paying $700/night and don’t like having to ask for basic supplies. The master tub was clogged. When I reached out the property management co was very responsive!!! They took care of all of our requests immediately.

What a beautiful place. Doris is a wonderful host she sends all the instructions right away. This was the first place where we didn’t have to clean up. Her cleaning crew did everything. The property was easy to find and as described. The only complaint we had was the information from the property manager was incorrect about the hot tub. We could not use it due to the code being wrong and no one answered at the number we were given to call. The information in the book about the property was also incorrect-use the info about wifi in the email you get. Great location, it was clean and spacious. No AC which was a problem as we were there in the summer, but when we opened up all the windows as soon as it got dark it was fine. Hot the first night though when we didn't know that. If we got the hut tub code, I would stay there again.

The condo was great. Sadly one of our family ended up hospitalized the morning after arrival. That required that we leave a day early. For future renters, it would be nice if the patio and entry were cleaned. Thankyou

We loved staying at this property. It had a lot of room for the four of us and our daughters each loved having their own king size bed. The decor is cabin rustic but comfortable. Liked that the bedrooms were on a separate floor too. And the kitchen was roomy and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay in Park City and hope to return next summer.

We really enjoyed the home and it had everything we needed to relax for a quick getaway. Our kids loved playing in the streams in the neighborhood. We did some great hikes at Canyons and even found one closer to town that leads you up to look at old mining shafts.

We enjoyed a peaceful weekend at Dori’s comfortable townhome. It was very clean and a great location in Park City. We would love to return again.

We are big fans of these townhomes and are currently on our second stay. Close to grocery store, slopes and 5 min drive to Main Street. Spacious place with attention to detail. Only negative, is we personally don’t like carpet in the living room area but we will be back again soon.

This was a very nice rental. Very clean and in a great location. It’s only about a ten minute drive from Main Street and has a beautiful view of the mountains. Would definitely stay again in the future

Property manager was very accessible and helped us check in early, many thanks. Condo main area and kitchen nice size for three kids to hang out easily. TV and fire great for post skiing down time. Hot tub towels would be a nice add. Quiet and safe area with friendly neightbors.

Great location for getting in and out of PC as the shuttle stop is practically right outside the door. The unit is super roomy with 2 big bdr upstairs. Clean unit and kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs. The only drawback is the traffic moving up and down the main road all night. We ran the box fans at night in each room, which provided enough white noise to block out the traffic. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be enough for you, but it was fine for us.

Free shuttle is close to front door, so easy in and out to various locations in Park City. Unit is roomy, clean, and had all the kitchen supplies that we needed for cooking. Only drawback is the traffic noise from the main road, which can be mitigated by running the included box fans at night. We had an issue upon arrival with roofers working on the unit, but with some communication, ITrip stepped in and took care of us, which was much appreciated.

The property was clean and well stocked with all of the items you might need for an extended stay and was in pretty good shape compared to some of the other rentals we have stayed in. The only caution I might mention is that there is no A/C and it can get pretty hot if you are planning a summer trip. Plus, the road noise (which you really won’t notice with the windows closed) is fairly loud at times and the main road into Park City is busy at all times during the day. It would be an awesome condo for a ski vacation.

This is a very nice property but it does not have air conditioning and it gets very hot in the summer. If you open the windows, you will hear a lot of traffic noise so loud, we couldn't sleep. It was so bad we left after one sleepless night. Owner refused to refund our money as well so we paid double for a week in Park City.

We loved the location, it was very relaxing and quiet, just what we were looking for. When we arrived the refridgerator was not working and dripping water, we called the number provided and the maintenance guy called and ended up switching us to another condo, since we hadn't unpacked all the way it wasn't an issue for us. Thanks for a great weekend.

Park City is the most charming little city. Our home was immaculate and the perfect location to eat, shop and play! We will be back next year!

We had a great experience. The condo is as described, well furnished and comfortable. It was clean, beds were comfortable. Garage parking was a nice plus in the snow. Very close (5 minutes) to the Canyons resort, 10 minutes to Park City Mountain and downtown.

Timberwolf 8C was a great set up for our family! convenient location and would definitely recommend.

The place was great. Large and comfortable. Nice. Great spot for the money and good location in Park City for access to Kimball Junction and Old Town PC. The only downer about the place is it is right off the main road into PC and the traffic is loud. Everything about it feels and looks like a cabin...except for the traffic noise! We would stay here again though.

Our family had a great time staying at Timberwolf 8C. The condo is incredibly spacious, with 2 extra large bedrooms, plenty of closet space and high end furniture. Very nice linens and towels were provided. Large kitchen with everything you need. Enjoyed the hot tubs outside and the jacuzzi tub in the bathrooms. The bus stop is right outside the door to get wherever you want to go, no need to rent a car. We also used Uber to get around , but the buses are on time .
